UK Summer Bank Holiday and "Notting Hill Carnival" will be held on 29th of August in 2016.

FTSE100 and UK stocks will be unavailable for trading due to UK Summer Bank Holiday on 29th August

Please note that due to UK’s Summer Bank Holiday on  29th of August, there will be also changes to market hours.

This National Public Holiday is held every year, on the last Monday of each August, and it is mainly celebrating the arrival of Autumn.

The internationally famous “Notting Hill Carnival” will be held on this day in London.

The change will be made to all Stocks and Indices in UK markets.
