You can certainly have your MT4 live trading account in another base currency, and there are 3 ways to do that.
In case you have just opened an account and haven’t funded yet, then you can certainly change the account base currency by just emailing to EightCap support team. Or you can also simply open another trading account in a different base currency.
If you have opened an account and already funded the account, you can still change the account base currency with some costs and time. It is because EightCap holds each currency in a different bank account with a different currency base. So you will need to request EightCap to send your funds to another bank account with the base currency you like to have, then the account base currency of yours will be also updated after that.
This comes with certain costs as EightCap is transferring the funds to another account and the bank will charge minimum fees for converting the currency to another.
You can also open additional account and fund that account so you might save your time and money.
In case you have already started trading in the live MT4 account and wish to change the base currency, unfortunately it is not possible. You have only one option in this case, which is opening an additional account with the preferred base currency.
EightCap allows each trader to open up to 5 live MT4 trading account. You can also have all of the account in different currencies to manage currency risks.
